This is a place I didn’t have high expectations for but was pleasantly surprised! There’s a good beer selection, tasty hamburgers and the chili was great as well. The trays were kinda hokey and the atmosphere felt a little too crowded and noisy for my taste. Don’t go in expecting anything fancy or high class, this isn’t that place at all. It’s probably not the place you want to go to for date night or an anniversary but for a decent no-frills meal and a beer this is a great choice.
The forty pound poutin with a little Sriracha was a great start to my day. The poutin has Hash Browns fries cheese, cheese curds Brown gravy a fried egg and bacon. OK so I’m trying to figure out how to say something bad about that plate but I realized there is nothing to say. This was fantastic as a brunch plate just fantastic. Another win for me.
Love Big Lug! Great atmosphere and service. I always get the Willie’s Special salad. So delicious and gluten free (grilled chicken) for all my allergy friends out there! I know people I’ve eaten with have always enjoyed their meal too. Great for dinner any night after work!
First visit was amazing! The food was flavorful and unique. The service in the lower level bar side was great. Our bartender / server was outgoing and very friendly. I can’t wait to come back and explore more of the menu.
