My sister and I haphazardly stopped here for early dinner, and geez, it was delightful. The staff were really nice, made us feel right at home, even tolerated my sister’s ‘broken Spanish’ 🙂 There seemed to be a new menu and we found some authentic dishes from Michoacan, and so she ordered Poblano Relleno – it’s the first time I’ve tasted a chile relleno here in Indy that I would recommend, they were very nice indeed, tender poblano pepper, stuffed with authentic Mexican white cheese, covered in a light egg-white batter, and fried up to perfection – really really good. I mentioned I wanted something with chorizo, and then took the waitress’ suggestion – called Pollo Ranchero, it was lightly cooked chicken breast tenders and onions and peppers in a sinfully delicious sauce that seemed their own special – they took a ranchero sauce and cooked chorizo sausage in it, producing a red sausage gravy that was just too darn good – an excellent suggestion from our excellent waitress. Next up, I want to go for breakfast cuz they have an astounding breakfast menu too. Clean, attractive, great food and service, a real winner in Indy’s Broad Ripple neighborhood!
Delicious breakfast! I’ve only ever had their breakfast but I love it. You get a lot of food for a good price. It’s fast and service is great. Food tastes very good. I’ve never been disappointed and would recommend it for breakfast if you’re ever in the area.
