Not impressed!!. I had two tacos and a half of a soda that I shared with a friend and my bill was over $7.00!! Apparently cheese on a TACO is an extra charge, $.50 to be exact. The tacos were lackluster and greasy. The gentleman then, didn’t charge my friend for cheese because she didn’t have anything but cheese… didn’t make sense to me. The chicken lacked taste it came with nothing extra as most Mexican restaurants do such as rice, beans, or salsa and chips. The placed smelled terrible, I had to wear the smell for the rest of the day. Save yourself time and MONEY and go somewhere that you’ll get good food.
Cheap, authentic, good.. This place is our top spot for Mexican food in Nora. I’ve never had the ice cream- some people have specifically warned me away from it- but the Mexican fare is great. They’ve got a fridge with Jarritos and the Mexican Coke in there as well, so if you’re in the area and looking for a cold Tamarind Jarrito you now know where to get one.
Pretty tasty tacos.. The wife works in nora so i picked up tacos here for her dinner break. Nicely loaded and the green hot sauce was pretty tasty. Instead of destroying your bank account at the joint accross the street or eating fake tacos at the place besides this place. You should check this joint out!!
Ice Cream, Mexican Food, and so much more!. This place at first seems a little sketchy. It is right on the Monon on 86th st by Jimmy John’s. Like any truly great authentic Mexican restuarant there are a couple of businesses being operated there. If you need it you may also pick up phone cards, internet service, cable, ice cream, Mexican food, and the crown jewel of it all is that you can have your taxes done while you eat! Do not fear though good sirs. You are only moments away from experiencing a celebration of flavor. I always get the tacos. They are the authentic tacos with the meat of your choice, cilantro, and onions. I always have them add cheese. Have them put the cheese between the shells. Yes, I said shells. Any self-respecting authentic restaurant will have the shells doubled up. You my friends are about to experience greatness. Enjoy, and thank me later.
