Expensive, inconsistent, delicious. I like the style of this place. Very unique for the area.I found a decent $9.25 sub, which is somewhat reasonable for a really good quality sub. Unfortunately the bread was often stale and they screwed up one of my pickup orders so bad it was uneatable. Its great when its good, but for $9.25 they need to be more consistent.
The staff and owner are very kind and the space is clean and comfy. Generous with the toppings, meats and cheeses. They would be perfect if their bread were always fresh.
I worked in a deli on the east coast as a teenager, I know a good sandwich. I didn’t have a good sandwich here. Yes, the everything sub bread was very good, but the roast beef on my French dip was sliced too thick and had no flavor. Even the Au Jus was watery and bland. I was hoping I would have a new lunch place for a good sandwich, but it didn’t turn out that way. One star, for the bread.
Really good! The sandwich bread is what makes them stand out. I’d have to agree with the previous reviewer in that you have to go a long way to beat Firehouse Subs, but DiBellos is definitely an extremely close second. I’d have to say Firehouse has a slight edge because they put more on their sandwiches. But this place is great also. Very friendly staff, neat and clean, and a good selection of toppings. The general manager is very kind also. I’d definitely eat here again!
