My first time at Giordanos Pizza, 82nd Street. Friday evening. Service excellent. Greek salad excellent. Lasagna so so. Cheesy bread sauce with red sauce excellent. Arnold Palmer refills were supplied without asking. Overall experience excellent. I didnt have pizza.
This is Indys first Giordanos establishment, and it still lines up the crowd. Luckily, youre able to order ahead at this location so that the food is ready when youre sat (if the lines out the door). We both decided on drinks before our food came, getting a beer and a sangria. Unfortunately, their house sangria was too sweet and not of my liking. The pizza came out after a little time (deep dish takes awhile), half of it being covered in spinach and mushroom and the other half having pepperoni. I liked the spinach and mushroom a lot, though felt some slices didnt have much toppings on them. The sauce was good, and the crust was crispy. Its not my favorite pizza place, but it was still pretty good for deep dish.
