Had a fantastic late lunch here. Cheese Ale Soup was creamy without any bitter taste from beer. The Madtown Grilled Cheese w/Apple Tomato soup was very good. Classic Cheeseburger was juicy and flavorful. The infamous Crack Fries delivered on their promise. We’ll certainly be back. Pics included. Enjoy! 20161203
Dined in last night for the first time with our daughter. Nice round booths for seating and cool art along the walls. Very prompt and polite service. We enjoyed the large list of local brews that happen to be on special for $3.50 a pint! Spin dip app was decent, it was finished with buffalo sauce just an fyi. Reuben and Chicken sandwich were very tasty and I thought the grilled cheese was a little funky pairing apples and dill! Over all we had a great time and some tasty food. Excited to try their brunch next!
Great selection of Indiana beers and import beers, and a nice mixed drink selection too. It has a hipster feel to it, but is clean and not overly loud inside. The food was great, I tried the Cowboy burger and crack fries.It’s one of the best burgers I have gotten at a restaurant, not too hot but with plenty of seasoning and kick. The fries were great too. Our server wasn’t that prompt or polite, which was the only negative part of the meal. I would definitely go again for burgersand local beers. So far my food experiences in the Broad Ripple area have been good, so I hope for more tasty food at HopCat.
Had dinner here with friends and enjoyed it. The crack fries are delicious. I would not recommend the I Am the Pork Sandwich that Knocks, it is bland. My wife enjoyed her cowboy bean burger. Their wings were also pretty decent.
My first visit was very enjoyable. The service was quick and friendly. My burger was very flavorful. The crack fries were good but I’m not sure how they are considered in the top ten fries in the country. I’ve had better battered fries. It was a good experience. I will be back.
I guess they didn’t want our business if the waitress was too busy playing with her phone rather than take our orders. We couldn’t try anything and we waited 15 minutes.
I’ve always enjoyed Hopcat. Their beer selection is fantastic. I recommend the pretzel nugs for a great app. I usually go here for apps and drinks with friends. You get a lot of food with an app so it’s usually plenty of food. Seasonal beers are awesome too. I’ve always had a great service. It gets pretty busy on the weekends.
