Great food.. Best chicken tenders I’ve ever had. Steak is good but a little tough. Worth the prices. Manager greeted us at the door. When asked if we could sit with our dog outside he advised us that we could not but made two suggestions of competitors that allowed dogs. How nice of him. Server was a bit uninterested but nice. Service was prompt.
I love Roy’s! I’m a Btown girl, so KOK was my home during college. It’s nice that Broad Ripple has one too. I love their quesadillas and breadsticks. Great drink specials. My go-to place when I’m in BRipp!
Racist manager!. He refused to seat a party of 13 people (11 black) even after a call ahead was made and despite the fact that the hostess and waitress tried to accommodate the group. However, the large groups of white people were treated with respect. This happened tonight on December 21st. How sad that some people still live in such hatred and ignorance.
If you must go to Broad Ripple, go to Kilroy’s. Adults rarely go to Broad Ripple bars, but when you must, Kilroy’s is the place. Park at the door, clean, good looking space, decent drinks and fun bartenders. It makes putting up with the kids almost worthwhile.
Horrible service!. We were unable to get waited on. It was a weekday afternoon about 1:30 p.m. We were ignored when we came in the door. There were only a couple of other customers in the place. We eventually asked one of the two waitresses who apparently had nothing better to do than stand around and talk to her coworkers if they were open. We were told to sit anywhere we liked so we took a seat in the dining room that offered a good view of both their dining and bar areas. After about 10 minutes my husband tracked down a waitress and asked for menus and to be waited on. She gave him two menus and said she’d be right there. After another 5-10 minutes my husband again tracked her down and said we were ready to order. She again said she’d be right there. He returned to our table and about 5 minutes after that we left without ever receiving any service. In retrospect, we should have left sooner.I now understand why the place was almost empty. What I don’t understand is why any restaurant would tolerate this situation. They obviously need to address their management and personnel issues.
Bad food and service!!!!. I went to Kilroy’s on a Friday afternoon 10-31-14. I love Broadripple and the look of the bar , but the service was terrible. Our waitress was rude, waitress had a awful attiude, the food was horrible and sloppy. It wasn’t even crowed so there is no excuse. I always give a restaurants a second chance, but this one I’m not for sure. If you have awful service at least the food should be good.
Let me tell you… I naively came here for dinner at 9:30 PM on the Saturday night before the Indy 500, it was Memorial Day weekend. I had the Mahi sandwich and it was good BUT everyone (who was not considered staff) was completely wasted. Next time I come here, I will keep in mind that Broad Ripple is where all the college kids get intoxicated and sloppy. My fault for not knowing ahead of time!
