My mother and I walk up to the counter at 2:30PM on November 12th. A girl who was sitting off to the side eating a sandwich while apparently clocked in for her shift comes over to get our orders. I ask her to wash her hands since I had just seen her eating and she informed me that it was not in their policy that they needed to wash their hands before serving me food. I find it very hard to believe that a huge company like pinkberry does not require their employees to wash their hands before serving food since it is a health and safety requirement. This girl then proceeds to tell us she doesn’t even have to help us and just walk away which I was completely OK with because I would rather have a girl who didn’t just shovel food into her mouth make my yogurt.Afterwards the customer service got even worse. It got to a point where I felt the need to ask for this girls name because of how horrible and rude she was to my parents and she refused so that she could avoid getting in trouble. The girl ringing us out also balled up our receipt and threw it away so that we could not get any information regarding store number and employee numbers. The three girls on staff then because laughing and talking crap to my parents who weren’t even saying anything to these girls (I was the one talking to these girls, my parents hadn’t really even noticed that something was going on).Long story short I used to work food in Highschool and have worked customer service for over 12 years and I understand that customers can be jerks sometimes but all of this started from a girl’s refusal to wash her hands before giving me yogurt. The customer service at this location is the worst I have ever seen and I would never come back to this location. I am concerned for the health and safety of anyone who chooses to come to this location if something as basic as washing hands is overlooked.
Yogurt Time. I got a cone filled with gingerbread yogurt. It was wonderful.
