Just went to Smee’s. Great service, great steak. If you get a chance, ask for Katie. She had a packed section but still made sure we had everything we needed. Great time.
I stopped by Smee’s for the first time earlier this week. I’ve been on a couple of missions food-wise lately, and they happened to have a menu item that was the same as one of those missions the Pork Tenderloin. I decided to go with rather quickly, and of course I ordered it breaded. It arrived showing a lot of promise. The tenderloin is a hand-pounded one, and all my favorite toppings were present: pickle, tomato, lettuce, and mayonnaise. The coating was nice and crispy and well-browned. Unfortunately, the seasoning was just too light so the flavor fell a little flat.Breaded Tenderloin: 2.5Service: 2.5Atmosphere: 2.5****************Explanation of rating scale:1: Does Not Meet Expectations2: Meets Expectations3: Exceeds Expectations4: Far Exceeds ExpectationsSo, on this scale, a 2 is a respectable score. 4s will be very rare. Service Slow but the Food was Good!. Wife and I stopped here this past weekend. BBQ Chicken Pizza was the diamond in the rough here! VERY GOOD!Ordered the specials (Smothered Filet Medallions, etc.) but the BBQ Chicken Pizza was the superstar here!Enjoy!
Decent Neighborhood Meal. Wait staff is pleasant, food is always consistent and meals are reasonably priced. We always run into people we know here.
Always a great experience!. Smees is probably the most friendly establisment in town.. They always serve fresh food. Great salads and a family atmosphere with a discreet and classy bar in the back. Feels like a private club that is really warm and welcoming. Great salads, burgers and tenderloins. Whether it is a quick drink and snack, or a full delicious meal, Smees is the PLACE!!
Great!. The interior was not at all what I expected but it was cool. The dj had classic rock ALBUMS (yes actually vinyl) playing. It was fun. The food was great and so were the drinks. Great atmosphere, great food! I had the Cashew Chicken Stirfry and he had the Jerk Chicken Sandwich.
Went here last night with my husband.you could tell from the people in there already that this was a great local place… young and old alike enjoying dinner.I ordered the BBQ Salad and a baked potato and my husband got the grouper fingers and fries.if you stay away from the plated entrees, the prices are $8-10 for the appetizers, salads and sandwiches. The plated entrees ran 12-18 or more depending on what it was.my baked potato was ordinary and not worth the $3.00+ charge.My salad was good. At first it looked skimpy regarding the toppings but once you dressed and tossed it… it was plenty of toppings. Everything was fresh. My only complaint is that the grilled chicken on top was dry and super hard to cut with the dull butterknife.My husband loved his grouper fingers and fries, though to me the grouper fingers were a bit too greasy. with our 2 meals and 2 sodas, our bill came out to just under $30.00. Spent a bit more here than we would have at Applebees but the food was good. It definitely seemed like a go-to place to go for a nice meal in a cozy environment… a place to meet friends for dinner.The waitress was good about refills on the soda. Never had to ask!we will return!
