The most elegant bakery experience outside Paris. The Carmel cake was devine and the French Silk pie was we wonderfully on point. The service was fantastic. A wonderful elegant experience. Yes, it might be pricey for some but worth every penny. Will be going back.

We came to The Cake Bake Shop today for a midmorning treat. The outside was very clean and pretty. The inside was lovely. We were immediately seated and given menus. It took a few minutes for someone to come over and get our drink order. We ordered a hot tea $6 and s’mores latte $6.50. The drinks also took a few minutes for us to get. My hot tea came in a teapot which held several cups of tea, very nice. My son ordered the millionaire cake $12.50 slice and I ordered the coconut cake $10.95 slice. The cake slices were huge. We each took about half home. Everything was good, the cakes were baked from scratch. Definitely a decadent treat.

An absolute disappointment. Came in for out first time and we were told it would be a 45 min wait so we left and came back after 30 min and they gave our table away. So we waited inside for about 2 more hours with no table and decided to buy cake to go with no hope of anything happening anytime soon and got our cake just to find that the icing tasted nothing like buttercream and the cake part was completely dry. Not to mention the place is way to small and should be expanded. Overall bad experience 10/10 do not recommend.

Amazing. Favorite place in broad ripple. All that glitters is gold. Atmosphere is simply magical. The peekaboo window gives you a behind the scenes view of all the bakers hard at work. Coffee.is great. Patio is awesome. The service is average. That is one detail that has opportunity for improvement to help better deliver on the overall customer experience. No detail is left out here aside from the inconsistent delivery of service. You’ve never seen or tasted more beautiful or delicious pastries and confections. This is a destination treat everyone must experience.

Pretentious, cliche, overpriced. Doesn’t fit with Broad Ripple – much more of a stuck up Geist / Clay Township / Zionsville sort of vibe. I prefer Rene’s Bakery.

Wow so much glitter that I wanted to change my name to Candy and have 5 kids. All kidding aside, it’s a very girly place. Lots a gals hanging out drinking wine. Pretty cool. We tried the millionaire and cookie dough cake. It looked amazing! Big slices. All the desserts looked delicious, sprinkled with glitter of course. I gotta say, we weren’t impressed. Although the cake was really moist it lacked a certain sweetness and the buttercream frosting definitely didn’t taste like true buttercream, it tasted more like a whipped cream icing that wasn’t very sweet and had a thick texture like crisco. I should’ve tried the coffee though, it looked and smelled great.
