Sorry I waited so long to try it.. Great from start to finish. If you haven’t been there yet, plan on going soon. Great food, great service and great atmosphere.
Northside Social – late night dining. Great service and the food was terrific.
Not worth it. Food had little flavor and was only lukewarm. Will not be returning.
I went to Northside Social a few weeks ago with my family. This place has a cute atmosphere but as someone who has worked in fine dining I think the trays look trashy and tacky- save that for Chilis and Fridays. I got the scallops and they were ok- certainly not worth $25. The drinks were probably the biggest rip off. I got a Caribbean queen and I took about 3 sips and it was gone- there was $10 down the drain. Everyone in my family said their food was just OK and I also found it weird that the manager decided to bus our table and take the bill when we were just talking- we felt very rushed and she seemed like she was trying to get us out of there. She didn’t seem nice at all and I’m so glad she wasn’t our server because she doesn’t seem very.. Well, personable. We will not be coming back.
We will be back….. After traveling by the restaurant many times we decided to give it a try on a Friday evening. Starting with a house salad and a Caesar salad, both salads were done well although I was charged extra for my anchovies. Our meals were done well with my wife ord
Expensive, but good. Came here for my anniversary. We got the calamari as an appetizer. They were like fingers, as opposed to the O’s you get everywhere else. They were excellent and the sauce with them was amazing. I got the chicken roulade for my entre and it was great. Two drinks, an appetizer, two entrees, dessert + tip came to about $100. I’d say it’s definitely worth it for a special occasion.
Brisket + Mac & Cheese & Excellent Service. I started with a bourbon-based signature cocktail that didn’t disappoint. Next came a slice of skillet cornbread and the parmesan shrimp as appetizers. Both featured unique tastes and were well done. For an entree I enjoyed the beer brisket which was excellent (and also proved an excellent next-day lunch). I opted for the roasted bleu cheese brussel sprouts as a side and enjoyed a hearty portion of my husband’s mac & cheese, which was outstanding. For dessert the bread pudding was phenomenal and to top it all off, our service was outstanding. An awesome local gem to show off Broad Ripple’s finest dining to out of town guests or local residents. Highly recommend for the entire experience. We’ll be returning soon!
