My husband and I normally love this restaurant. In fact, we usually tell all of our friends and family it’s the best sushi place in Indy. However our food the past two visits has been far below our expectations. I took my mom for dinner in June and it was wonderful, but when my husband and I have visited twice in July, it’s been terrible. I actually became ill fifteen minutes after leaving the restaurant. Aside from that, the rice doesn’t have the same texture and doesn’t taste nearly as good as before. I’m not sure if they have switched rice brands (they use Tamaki Gold) or have someone new preparing the rice. The nori isn’t the same either. The texture isn’t pleasant. I am hoping the owners/chefs see this and make adjustments as necessary. We want to come back, but until then we will be making sushi from home.
Bad Service!. I called today to place a pick up order. I informed the employee that the website menu was not working and she replied very rudely that I must be using it wrong. I asked what todays chef specials were, and she replied that all of their rolls are special. I placed an order for my go-to 4 rolls and she stated it would be ready in 15-20 minutes. I showed up and my order was still not complete after 30 minutes, again she was very very rude. I will NOT be going back!!!!
