Best in Peru. My wife and I enjoy getting in our 64 Chevelle, putting the top down, and cruising to Peru’s B&K West on those warm Indiana summer evenings. Great spanish hot dogs and service. We have never experienced the poor quality posted earlier. Thanks B&K West. Keep up the great food and service.
B&K Hot Dogs. Spent many of my childhood years and teen years eating at this hot dog stand…We live in Tennessee now and I sure to miss the good old Spanish dog with onion…best dogs around, still have friends in Peru and they are always sure to tell me when they go get Spanish Dogs…I am going to make the knock off sauce for company that is coming and I hope it taste enough like the old B&K that it will bring a few good memories back to them too…If you are just driving thru Peru be sure to give the B&K a try..
WORST Dogs I have ever had. Went to get a couple Spanish Dogs and some Cheese fries tonight and a small Root Beer. BAD IDEA! The dogs tasted like they were days old, the buns were hard as rock and the FRIES WERE TERRIBLE!!! Mushy, not even cooked all the way and the Root Beer was flat and watered down. This was the first time in a couple years that we had eaten there because the last time we were there the food was terrible and I see it hasn’t changed any. Definitely wont be going here ever again. You know, one would think since there aren’t any good places in Peru to eat that these places would go the extra mile in buying quality ingredients and serving quality product at a good price but not in Peru Indiana! NOT one pl;ace in this town has a decent restaurant.
Unbeatable spanish dogs. I have eaten hotdogs a lot of places and i have yet to beat the hotdogs here with spanish sauce on them. they are fanastic! cheap drive-in place to grab a local meal. my favorite is spanish dog with cheese–you’ll be glad you did it!
