This place is so nice! Highly recommend all you can eat cafeteria style lunch. Fresh, clean tasty food, and the staff are all very friendly and patient and accommodating even when you have questions about food items.
I just found out about this place and thought I’d try it for dinner.I had Vegetable Samosa with Marsala Chai to start. The Samosa was served with Tamarind (I believe), and mint chutney. Both were good, but I’ve had more flavorful. The Samosas were hot and crispy with a soft center. They served 2 and both were very full. The Chai was nice, but was very sweet.I had paratha instead of naan. I prefer paratha because it puffs up and is flaky. I was disappointed they didn’t have plain paratha, these were stuffed with potato. I’m assuming that means they probably don’t make them fresh in the back. I probably won’t order the aloo paratha again and may pass on bread altogether since there was plenty of rice.I had Chicken Vindaloo as my entree. It also had a good flavor, but again it seemed toned down. I ordered it medium hot but didn’t notice any spice. I had lots of food and didn’t walk away hungry, but without the appetizers and dessert, I think the portion size would have been a bit light for a dinner. For a lunch portion, it would have been just about right. Dessert was Gulab Jamun. 2 were served warm in syrup and were soft and delicious. All of that ran me $20, which wasn’t bad at all considering all the food I had. Overall, the flavor was good, but I thought it wasn’t as flavorful as I’ve had elsewhere. They seemed to tone down the heat and possibly sugared everything a bit to appease the mostly American crowd. The bread was a bit on the bland side as well. I’m still pleased overall but think they’ve Americanized the food.
