Oasis Diner is a GREAT mom and pop place! Good comfort food with very large portions and service is always great!!! If you go there ask for Mary as your server!! Shes awesome and works hard to make sure your happy and have everything you need. We usually go here at least once a week! Love this place!!!
Really cool place! Homemade diner food with lots of neat options. As someone who works at a diner chain where everything comes out of a freezer bag…. This was a really nice change of pace and the same price you pay at those boring chains.
Fun diner with interesting wall items to look at and story. One of the oldest diners in Indiana and still going ! Been through a few owners and moved , so read the history it is interesting. They have their own root beer you can buy in growlers and take home also, and many flavored of soda. Food is decent diner food , at a decent price. I had the pork tenderloin , tasty but thicker than most I’ve had. Which isn’t bad either! Staff was friendly , especially since we where in late and the last to leave after closing time .
Great decor! Waitress went above and beyond dealing with six adults and a rambunctious three year old. Lots of interesting food choices. All 6 of us ordered different items, there was not a single unhappy party member! Can’t wait to go back to try anything else on the menu (especially the pulled pork fries).
We loved it! Can’t wait to go again. We used a Groupon, but the prices are reasonable. I had the best beef manhattan I’ve had in a restaurant! Hubby had a breakfast plus biscuits and gravy and he was very pleased and it filled him up, which is hard to do. Maybe these negative review people need to revisit and reconsider.
Comedically bad experience. Hostess took us to a dirty table. When we pointed out it was filthy she swatted crumbs away with our menus before we asked for a different table. Later guests were seated there with no cleaning. No silverware, outdated drink special on the board, rude waitress. The final straw was when my fish for my fish and chips was RAW, only the breading was warm. The Reuben was shredded beef and cheese only, not a Reuben. When we asked for the manager we were instead brought our waitress, who tried to take our food away instead of getting management. We insisted on the manger who merely gave a halfhearted apology before we left. My raw meal was taken away before I could get a photo.I had been twice before and it was merely okay, but this felt like a prank show gone wrong. I don’t know what has happened to this place.
