I think this is the best filet in Richmond. The food is always good. The atmosphere is a bit stuffy. One time I held a small (about 9 people) get together there. We were seated in the main room and with that many of us all trying to talk we would start talking and all feel like we had to quiet down and that we were disturbing others. A member of my party was talking about gay marriage and his religious views and we were almost thrown out by the wait staff. Not only were we astonished that they were eavesdropping to that extent but put off that they felt because his opinion didn’t coincide with theirs they had the right to threaten to kick us out. I will never host an event there again and frankly was embarrassed about our treatment but continue to go for quite date nights with my spouse.

Great food and service. Really glad we came in. Stuffed portabella mushroom with scallops was delishious! Wished this place wasn’t 17 hours from the house.01 Oct, 2013Great food and service. Really glad we came in.

Great place!. If you exit I-70 in Richmond looking for a great meal this place is it. Avoid the temptation to stop at all the chain restaurants and drive the extra 5 minutes to downtown Richmond. The service was top notch and the food was fresh and flavorful. A++++

Good place for a nice lunch. Greek salad, club sandwiches, and soups were all very good.

Good Food, Bad Service. Went to the restaurant passing through town. My wife grew up in the and wanted to try it. It was before the holidays and there were several large parties. The kitchen was swamped and our foor was very slow, almost to the point of leaving. The waitress pretty much ignored us during our long wait for dinner. The busboy was more interested in our expeience than the waitress. The salad was good but over-dressed. The main courses were very good. The prime rib was outstanding.

The Olde Richmond Inn. Superb food, friendly staff and great atmosphere in a historic house that is divided into several small dining rooms.I highly recommend the Olde Richmond Inn, my new favorite special occasion place to dine!
