25/03/2017Today my partner and I thought we’d get fish n chips for dinner, witch was algood. Anyway my partner ordered a chicken burger and is highly disappointed in it.. the chicken Pattie looked like grinded up cat sick and had about half an onion chopped up in it with 1 lettuce leaf. We also got a scoop of chips with extra salt.. well I’d love to know where the scoop is? This wouldn’t even fill a 4 year old child and as for the extra salt, there appeared to be none on there.. we are both very disappointed in the food we have brought.. Will not be going back.
My mother visited this store 9/6/2015 to purchase fish n chips. We are Maori, as she entered the store the female attendant placed the bowl of free lemons for customers under the counter. As the elderly man, who was before my mother left the store he offered her his fizzy drink which you get with a combo pack she accepted. As this was the same purchase my mother had ordered the female server tried to decline my mother the drink which was rightfully hers with her purchase because of the kind old mans drink offer. She was not treated well or felt welcomed. My 65yr old mother left that store feeling less than a human and was close to tears. WHY!!We have lived in this neighbourhood for nearly 4yrs I find this behaviour sad and disgusting I will be telling everyone I know. Terrible
We visited this store on Sat 30 May 2015, about 5.30pm with my Mum. Now I am part Maori but my colouring is pale my elderly mum however is alot dark skinned and looks Maori and very proud to be Maori. This man that served or attempted to serve us left us waiting while about 10 other people came into the store after us, were served, this man looked my mum up and down between the times she was TOTALLY ignored. She felt totally terrible and asked if we could leave because of the way this so called man was treating her in a passive aggressive manner. We left the store and my mum got into the car and cried – DISGUSTING BEHAVIOUR DISGUSTING RACIST BEHAVIOUR, YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED.
