The deli is part of the Bevers Family Pharmacy, and the drugstore atmosphere comes through. The menu is simple – soup, sandwiches, and salads. There’s also a daily sandwich special. Ingredients are always fresh. Portions are generous for the price, and they have a good grasp of proper filling to bread ratio. The food is simple but good and consistent, and this has helped earn them a loyal customer base. Everybody seems to be a regular. The best part though is the rapport built between the staff and customers. You’ll see lots of cutting up, plenty of snarky comments and good-natured teasing, and I think this is really what makes it worth visiting.
