This was my second visit to The Fish Stand. My only other visit was over 15 years ago. That first visit was with the former owners and I wasn’t impressed. This visit was a totally different experience. The atmosphere is light and airy, the staff is very friendly, the fish was lightly breaded and very delicious, the slaw was very creamy and yummy, and I loved the fries and hush puppies. I’m sorry I waited so long to visit again since the new owners have owned it for quite some time. I will definitely be coming back as a regular customer. They have a limited menu but what they do they do well. I couldn’t believe they close at 7pm. I was there from 5:30pm until almost 7pm and the place was continually busy. They could definitely stay open later and have steady business.
