Excellent. Possibly the best combination of food and good service in the area.
Nice restaurant ambience and delish food!. We had a lovely experience at cafe Navarre last night. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. The ambience can’t be beat, very hip and classic at the same time. And truly unique foods for the michiana area. Where.else do you find fiddlehead ferns,.perfectly cooked scallops and spring pea risotto. Just lovely and fit for foodies! Will definitely go back again!
Bad server. My husband and I came here for the first time and although the ambiance is amazing and the food was delicious, our waiter was very stuffy , rude and not very helpful when I tried to tell him that my green beans were not done, he brought me out another plate and seeing that I still didn’t eat them , did not offer a solution or even ask if I would like a different vegetable.. Unfortunately after paying a almost $80.00 ticket for just the two of us, I would not want to chance having that waiter again.
Wonderful as always! I had been wanting Gazpacho for a long time and they had it on the menu last Friday! Oysters were to die for and I’m still shocked how fresh they tasted! The best oysters I’ve had in a very long time!
ALWAYS delicious and the menu never disappoints. Lunch is served very quickly if you need to get back to the office.
A gem in downtown SB. Lovely venue but not uptight. The French onion soup is not to be missed. Whole grain breads in the breadbasket, Himalayan rock salt on the table, some very nice fish specials (I.e., barramundi, Tile, etc). Betty’s bubbles cocktail is a lovely summer cocktail. Our new ‘go to’ place!
