Consistently good. Ive eaten at Elias many times, I like everything but the tabbouleh ,which has too much parsley and lemon juice for my personal taste. The new location is very nice and im glad she reopened, Elias is a Southbend gem with consistently good food,
Stopped in tonight and had a great meal. The service is wonderful, the staff very friendly. The restaurant is very nice inside, if only they had a better view! Had the gyro, which I thought was awesome and my wife the shawarma, which she really enjoyed (but she liked mine better). Great place, stop in if you’re a fan of Greek/Mediterranean Food.
Not for Me. We had a variety of food. The spices used were the same in everything. The falafel may have been good, but for the burnt flavor on the crust. Maybe the oil i the fry needs to be changed. we will not be going back. 🙁
Amazing Food. My absolute favorite place in town to get fresh, delicious comfort food. I have eaten here countless times and am never disappointed. As a vegetarian I find Elias to have some of the best options when I am in the mood to go out. The garlic paste and tabouli are always fantastic and the portion sizes are large enough I always get two meals out of every visit. One of my favorites is the veggie combo, the falafel is light and always cooked perfectly. The move from the previous location to this one finally aligns the ambience of the restaurant with the quality of the food! I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough!
Never had a bad meal here. Warm, attentive employees and excellent food made with love!
The food is Lebinese … Not my style. Steak is soaked in wine so has a sour taste. My wife and I packed our meal to go then pitched in trash when we got home. We will not be going back. Others might like the sour taste from wine soaked meats and other things cooked in grape leafs, but it just wasn’t for us.
Grass clippings. I had a Greek Salad there the first time I stopped in. The Gyro meat was too thin and seemed to be overcooked, kinda leathery. The second time I had something that resembled grass clippings with a little vinegar and oil on them. Tambouli it was. Doubt if I will return there again. Some people rave about the place (???), but I can get the same sh*t from the lawn mower.
