Nicest Place in Town. Came for our anniversary and had a wonderful meal. Everything went perfectly. I’m not used to this type of dining, but it’s great for a special occasion. (Watch out for that sticker shock…yikes.)
Like the food; HATE the owner. I will literally go anywhere else I can for fine dining in South Bend. The sad thing is that Lasalle Grill actually has really good food but the owner is RUDE. He thinks that because he has a successful restaurant, that he can treat people anyway he’d like which is like dirt. The owner seems to think he’s stuck back in the 1800’s and nothing and no one can tell him differently. I will literally visit EVERY other restaurant in this town than dine here again. I’d suggest walking a few more blocks and visiting Cafe Navarre or Ciao’s.
High end and quality. 7.5/10 food score for a 5-star style place. I have had better food at high end European restaurants, but this is the top place to eat in south bend. Obviously it is a very pricey place to eat, but it is quality not heat and serve.
Good, quality food. I love to eat here when I have a little extra change. If it is a special occasion, I highly recommend going here. The food is always fresh and top notch.
The best place to eat in South Bend bar none. For a special treat call Andrew and have a special occasion menu printed. Last visit had NY strip from new supplier. Best I ever had. We also had Chilean Sea Bass and it was also the best ever. BTW the best staff in town.
Dinner at the bar. I dine at the bar with my husband…..we enjoy the intimacy and excellent service. We get to see Andrew, Zoran, Juan and whoever the barkeep is during our visit. I never pass up a beet salad if they have one on the menu, usually enjoy the Amish chicken, salmon or pork chop – order cheesecake and rarely leave without a decaf cappuccino – always a great evening!
Great upscale dining. Innovative menu! Been there several times and have never been disappointed.
