Tried this place for the first time last Friday and it was a major disappointment. Me and my Fianc both waited over 1.5 hours for our food. Trying not to ruin our date night I refrained from just getting up and walking tf out. We both ordered dinner boxes and I could not believe how long it took for our food to come out. I was beyond hangry by the time it did come out. The food was meh… def not good enough to wait over an hour for. Crazy thing is that it wasn’t even that busy. And to make matters worse a table that ordered after us somehow got there food before us?? It seems if you are a regular you get preferential treatment compared to a new customer. There are other places around town that can handle a Friday night rush and one thing I do know is that I will never have this issue again.
We love sushi and try to get it whenever and wherever we can! We have never been able to find ‘spicy mayo’ as good – even close to as good as Robert’s at Matuba! Try to get back at least once a year! It’s about 10 hours – but it s totally worth it!! If you are in the area, you MUST check it out!! You will not be sorry!
