Checked in today, closed. I am vegetarian and I scour deep to find good eats. I found this place about a year ago or so ago. Place is a cubbyhole in the corner of a minimall.Forgot what I ate but it was fine, it was a small operation. I looked for it today found it closed by the health department. The place wasn’t top design, more like get the business going and serve food. But I applaude the efforts for the owner being Kosher and vegetarian which is so rare in this meat world. Hope the owner works it out and comes back.

Kosher Pizza in South Bend!!. As I was traveling back to Chicago with my family from New York, where stopping for a super early dinner in Cleveland was not practical and would have taken an extra hour of our time. There is no Kosher Food options in Toledo or Northwest Indiana, but I was so happy and shocked to find this place in little South Bend, Indiana and called them. (found our about them from Midwest Kosher here in South Bend too) I live in a large suburban Jewish Community and do not have a single Kosher Place to go eat at. This was a real special treat. The owner was so nice that he stayed open a half-hour until we got there and told us to eat in instead of in our car. Customer service like that is not common or does not exist in a big city like Chicago or New York. Was this the best pizza I ever ate, probably not. But the closest Kosher Pizza place is probably 150 miles away. I congratulate him for opening up in this relatively Small Jewish Community. I GIVE HIM 5 STARS FOR HIS EFFORTS!My family got to eat dinner in the 8:00 hour instead of the 10:00 hour in Chicago. We had pizza, eggplant parmiagiana, onion rings, french fries, salads, cheesesticks, soft drinks for you Chicagoans or soda for you New Yorkers, and even frozen slushies for dessert and the tab came to under $50.. The fries and onion rings for excellent. WE WERE VERY HAPPY! THANK YOU VERY MUCH! We will be back.

The guys working were really nice. Pizza was decent for the price. Mozzarella sticks were good! I’ll definitely be trying the stuffed pretzels and falafel nexttime.

Awesome food! Lacking atmosphere but the owner was super nice and the food was fresh-VEGETARIAN which is hard to find 🙂
