Cold food – nothing more to say.. It was very busy this morning and they were apparently short staffed. We wait a while for the food, which I understand. The food, including scrambled eggs, pancakes and french fries all arrived cold. I mean literally cool to the touch on the outside, and room temperature on the inside. I cannot offer a review of the taste since it is hard to gauge the quality of eggs or pancakes when they are room temperature.
Awesome Breakfast. We’ve been here a couple of times when visiting South Bend. Absolutely the best breakfast, best service. If you’re ever in the area, you have to check it out. We will be sure to visit this place whenever we’re in the area.
Now this is great breakfast. If your looking for a great price and a good meal this is your place…. I love the eggs florentine!! The owners are almost always on hand and great to chat with. Hope you will give this place a chance because its awesome
Oh..the Church of Pancakes : ). I think going to one of the Pancake shoppes in South Bend/Mishawaka area has become an alternate to church for some people. It is a religious experience and you still get to look at what people are wearing..before or after or instead of regular religious activities : )Delicious food at all of them, too : )
If you LOVE mushrooms…. For mushroom lovers only, try the mushroom omlet with swiss (it normally comes with american cheese) ….Its awesome and good for two meals or more! The sherry wine sauce is for those who like rich sauces and heavy with mushroom flavor. I get mine baked well-done to eliminate the extra moisture from the mushrooms…Enjoy!
Good breakfast, good portions. Try the apple pancake, it’s worth the wait
Love this place. My wife and I are regulars there now almost every weekend.
