Not consistent. I have had really good food at Parisi’s..and had some honestly terrible food. I wish they had some kind of predictable quality because they are in my neighborhood and would be a convenient option.Service was average to slightly better than average for South Bend
Overpriced Mediocre Food. Parisi’s likes to think it’s this fancy place with great food. It’s a rip off for people visiting Notre Dame who don’t know better than to not eat here. I’d forgotten the name of this place after years of driving past it, ignoring it. My Notre Dame friend’s parents were taking us all out to dinner. Since I didn’t recognize the name, I figured it was a new place. The prices were outrageous for very plain Italian food. I ended up getting a $14 cheese ravioli. I couldn’t ask these nice parents to pay upwards of $25 for my dinner, so that’s what I went with. It was completely flavorless. I make better Italian food myself. I felt embarrassed for not warning my friend to go elsewhere. The atmosphere is one of a fake air of superiority. Also, the $$ price listing is misleading. You will be ripped off here.
GREAT FOOD!!! EXCELLENT SERVICE!!!!. I visited Parisis this past weekend. The food was amazing!!! I ate the chicken limone and my husband had the Veal, everything was excellent.. I cant remember the servers name, pretty blonde girl with long hair she made us laugh and was great!!! We will definately be back.. The atmosphere, the food and price was worth the trip to South Bend!! ( we are from Laporte ) We will be back soon!! Thank you Parisis for a great date night!!!!!
Waste of time and money. If you want terrible service, mediocre food, and an unresponsive bordering on rude owner, then this is the place for you. Over-priced establishment that has a very high opinion of itself and counts on its proximity to Notre Dame to keep patrons coming back.
My favorite Italian restaurant in South Bend. Family owned and operated. Eat out on the deck area in the summer!
Surprised at bad reviews.. I’m surprised at the bad reviews I see here. I have dined at Parisi’s several times and the food has always been great. Both Lisa and Diana are excellent servers. Also, they have recently developed a new menu which is even better than before. If you want authentic Italian Food this is the place.
Great Food at a fair price. Just recently went here with some friends on a Groupon deal. To be honest, I don’t know why I have not come here sooner! Food was great, service was good, etc. I don’t remember what everyone had but I had a homemade rigatoni special and my girlfriend had a gluten free pasta/chicken dish, it was very good! We shall be back soon!
