My Favorite Restaurant!. This place is fantastic. If you have fond memories of your mom/ grandma making you delicious, home-cooked Italian food, get ready for some nostalgia when you walk in. The restaurant’s dining space is cozy and genuinely Italian (the place has been around sine 1920 something, so no surprises there), and you can tell from the smell coming from the kitchen that everything is homemade. The servers are knowledgeable and friendly, and the owners are a joy to talk to. Most importantly, you can’t go wrong when choosing from their menu. Everything is delicious.
Good food, nice atmosphere. My boyfriend has been coming to Sunny Italy since he was a little boy. His grandparents used to take him for dinner after church. This place has sentimental value to him. He raved about their spaghetti and meatballs. They were good, not the best, but good. The bread they serve was soft and flavorful and the salad with roquefort dressing was awesome. I wouldn’t say it was the best spaghetti and meatballs I’ve ever had but it was definitely worth a repeat visit. The ambiance is romantic and the service was excellent. Good food at fair price.
