At SCC, we specialize in three things: smoothies, crepes, and coffee. Our smoothies are made with fresh fruits that are locally sourced (when possible) and organic. Our crepes are unique because we serve both sweet and savory crepes. This comes as a surprise to a lot of our customers because they have traditionally seen only sweet, or dessert, crepes. It is especially surprising to them when we serve a chicken cordon bleu or Denver omelet crepe! Finally, we are one of only a few known locations in South Bend that serve Intelligentsia Coffee. This type of coffee utilizes a pour over preparation method that takes approximately 3 minutes to brew each cup. We believe in the integrity of the food we serve to our customers. That is why everything on our menu is prepared with the freshest ingredients that are organic, locally sourced (when possible), hormone free, humanely raised, and fairly traded. We also believe in developing a highly enthusiastic and talented team to serve our community. Thus, our team members are all paid living wages. Additionally, we provide training and professional development to all of our employees to empower them and continue positively contributing to our evolving city.
