Great place for lunch or dinner. Prefect place for a wedding!. We had gone to this restaurant a few times and liked the food and atmosphere. We decided to have our wedding here because it was actually one of the most affordable options for a big wedding in the area. The staff and management are absolutely terrific. Katie, the event planner, helped us with everything in the planning process and Kevin, the manager was so accommodating and helped us set up and attended to our every need on wedding day. The food was so amazing and the whole place is absolutely gorgeous (so here’s a tip, brides: Its already decorated so you don’t need to pay for decorations!) If you are considering a wedding in the South Bend area, I absolutely recommend checking out Tippecanoe Place. It was a great experience and we are so glad we chose them. It is also one of the best and beautiful places for a delicious meal. The chef is awesome!

Go for the ambience. This house is worth seeing, no matter the quality of the food, which is just ok. It is great for events, though. My husband and I had our wedding reception on the lawn and it was beautiful. The service was good and food was fine. One of the finest, if not the finest old homes in South Bend. Worth a visit to the restaurant, and just a great venue for an event.
