Terre Haute’s Go To Steak House. Texas Roadhouse…. It’s simply delicious!! I can’t even count the number of times my fiancee and I have gone to dinner here. Everything on the menu is fresh, hot, and so, so good. They have excellent service and the waiters/waitresses stop by frequently and will try to hold a conversation with you rather than just check your drinks. Plenty of warm, buttered yeast rolls with cinnamon-honey butter (or regular if you prefer) to keep you happy. Don’t shy away from the flavored sweet and unsweet teas though! They have some of the best peach sweet tea I have ever had! We eat here quite often and the prices are great. The most we’ve spent on the two of us is $50, but he went for a large steak. Normally, we’ll walk out the door for $30-35 with to-go boxes as well. Large portions and great food. Don’t count out the chicken though either! Even though it’s a steak place, they have some of the best chicken dishes I’ve had!
Great Steaks. They have great prices, especially before 6 PM Monday – Thursday and the food is fantastic every time you go. The rolls with cinnamon butter are probably my favorite item. Service is fast and friendly and the only downside is the long wait due to everyone in Terre Haute wanting to eat there.
