Never going back. First of all the menus that are pictured on here are not what they have on the menu right now. My husband went to pick up our food and bring back. There are ony 4 entree choices and they were out of one. So he got a trout dinner for $12 which was probably worth about $5. The potatoes and asparagus that came with it were bland and the portion was tiny. We also got the chicken Rissoto which was fine and some chips and guac. They were not busy yet it took forever for the food to come out and he said the oatmeal stout tasted watered down. For as many restaurants there are to choose from this one is not worth a second look. We spent almost $40 on lame food from a bar.
My girlfriend and I decided to have lunch here and we were very pleased. I had the grilled cheese and it was excellent. She had a burger and it was also delicious. I would definitely return again if only to enjoy a pint or two of their delicious beer.
We drive 2 hours from Fort Wayne just to have some beer and food. The food is fantastic and the beers are well crafted.
Good food, quite tasty. Beer was good as well and for me that says a lot, not a huge beer drinker! Will return.

Bring your coat!!. We are big fans, and regular customers, of the brewery. That said, we are deciding whether to ever go back again. We came in to spend the afternoon today and immediately felt how cold it was in the dining room. After the first hour shivering, we asked the waiter if they could turn the heat up. An hour later, the temperature in the dining room was about 65 and the heat never kicked on. 90 minutes later, the heat kicked on for about 5 minutes and then kicked off, returning the dining room quickly to about 65. When I told the waiter we had to leave because nothing was being done about the heat, he returned, tossing our full bill down without an apology, nor a thank you for our business. We love this place but are ticked off enough with our experience today that we many never return. Had a manger walked over and apologized, or at least acknowledged our concern, we would think differently. But instead, nobody seemed to care. There are too many options in downtown Valpo to put up with freezing and then no concern by the waiters/owners. We are lost customers!!
