Avoid. Spend your money elsewhere on a much better steak. The fillet was average and the prime rib was disappointing in flavor and quality.
Stay Away. Can’t cook a steak to save their life, at least they where nice enough to refund the total price of the steak. The only thing I can say positive is that the dip sauces for the onion rings was extremely good.Seating is extremely poorly laid out and everyone is always trying to push to get by you to and from their seats.
Fantanstic dinner today. Went in around 5 and was seated immediately. Staff was friendly and early bird menu was great. Soup plus prime rib, 10 shrimp, and a side for under $15 cannot be beat. Great meal. Will return
Pricey….but we’ll go back=). The atmosphere is nice, the staff welcoming. Every morsel of food we had was wonderful. The service was excellent, the owner stopped by the table to make sure all was good. My entire family gives Kelsey’s a big thumbs up!
Sirloin was 20 bucks which is a bit steep but it was done well and had good flavor. Service at the bar was below average.
I was told great things, but did not experience them.. I have lived all over, and had great steaks, but not here.We were taken twice by reps from a couple of companies we deal with. The steaks I ordered (Med rare) were over cooked both times, and the other food wasn’t great. Just not much flavor in the meat, or the other food.It wasn’t horrible either, but nowhere near the reputation people put on it. The price is consistent with fine dining, just not the food. Service was ok, not exceptional. This is Valpo after all, so that maybe a big factor in the hype. When I can go to the store, and cook a much better steak on my grill at home something is terribly wrong.
For a steakhouse they can’t prepare the steaks correctly.
