Best restaurant in Valparaiso – amazing food, staff is super nice, and the location/ambience rocks. I’m surprised there aren’t more nice/modern cuisine places like this in Valpo, but at least it’s a start! We eat here every time we are in town.
Sloooooow. No bread and oil, no crackers, just a long wait for the food. The food was good, but portions were way too small. Too expensive, limited and did I mention, slow? Waited for our food for 40 minutes.
Went here on a recommendation. We were one of a handful of couples in the restaurant on a Saturday night. The menu is extremely limited and the prices are high. But because of this I figured we were in for a great meal, unfortunate it was just ok and not worth the price. We went across the street for desert.
$40 beer. I ordered take out at this restaurant and had a beer while I waited. The bartender was very friendly and I could watch my meal being prepared while I conversed. I ordered the beef ribs as recommended from the bartender. I took this home and was surprised at how little a portion I received. The ribs did not look appetizing in any way, which did not matter at this point because I knew I was going to have to go purchase another dinner. I took one bight and spit it out. Then, I did something I have never done before, return it. I told the bartender the situation, and received no concern. I went to Walmart and bought something to microwave. The beer was good, yet cost me $40.
