Sundays are Different. I haven’t been here other than one visit on a Sunday recently. They had a buffet with Pierogis, Quiche, BBQ Ribs, Meat Loaf, Prime Rib sliced to order, Eggs any way, a mini desert bar and salad bar and minimal ordering from the kitchen included. Everything I tried was very good they keep everything fresh and the service was exceptional.
Best kept secret in Valpo. Great senior menu, can’t beat the prices. Good service, they have remodeled
This was the worst dinner I’ve ever had in Valpo. The service was terrible, the food was over salted beyond edible, the atmosphere stunk even before a table of obnoxious drunks was seated next to us. My wine tasted like it came from an open bottle that was left to sit and my date said his drink was stale. We waited an hour for two entrees and mine wasn’t even cooked through. We will never go here again.
Bunco Girls Christmas Dinner. Early in December my Bunco Club of eight girls had their annual Christmas Dinner. We always pick a different spot in or around Valpo. This year we picked Martinis Steak and Seafood. The service was great, the menu had something on it for all of us. We had a gret dinner, were able to exchange our Christmas gifts , talk without feeling pressured to leave. The prices are reasonable, with good food. The parking is excellant, No looking for a spot in the downtown area. This was my suggestion and everyone said great. My husband and I frequent Martinis often and find it a good quality restraunt with reasonable prices. Martinis is in the process of updating the restraunt area and bar. Nice place for lunch also. Either with girlfriends or a business lunch .Large menu of sandwiches soup and salad bar. Definetely a place to try
Will not be back. Went there for birthday, food was ok, service was horrible. waiter was working both front and back rooms. twice had to get other staff to find our waiter. 2.5 hrs for so so meal. good luck an good bye
I don’t understand. I have visited Martini’s 4 occasions in the last 3 months. The service has been lacking each and every visit. The food has been average. I took my wife to lunch today, and we had an $8 off coupon towards a lunch if another was purchased. We opted also to pay extra for the salad bar. When I went to pay the server, she was told by the owners that it is not permitted to get the $8 off of the entree if the salad bar is purchased. Ok, if I had to pay regular price, i would not go there. And I wouldn’t have paid extra for the salad bar, which had no lettuce, if i couldn’t get the $8 off. There are too many other places to go in Valparaiso, with better food and better service before I would visit Martini’s again.
Martinis Restaurant. The drinks are good, but grossly overpriced. Hummus served with hot rolls was delicious. Meals were tasty and portions were generous, biut I didn’t think it was anything special. I think for the cost there are better restaurants nearby.
