Overall. Seems like a nice place, request a table w/o kids close by, get drinks and bump the fake plant w/dessert menu and covered glasses til dust settled! Then here come your neighboring table with small noisy, steering kids right next to you needlessly! $10.00 burgers that I couldn’t finish because I felt they just taste lousy! I can’t see ever wanting to return!
Once was enough. Had a hankering for a good hamburger and my wife insisted I could not do better than Red Robin. Ugh. They piled on greasy, oily, battered onions, and some other things I had trouble identifying. But, here’s the kicker for me: I ordered a scotch and was brought some sort of whiskey but definitely not scotch. How do you confuse rye whiskey with scotch. I sent it back and got another drink that only had a passing suggestion of what scotch is supposed to taste like. There could not have been more than three tables of dinners so being busy was not reason. I looked for the bartender on the way out but there was no one to be seen. Lousy hamburger and can’t even get a decent drink. Pass.
Jackie is the best waitress. We ask for her everytime and she remembers everything we’ve ever ordered. I love that I can order any burger with a vegetarian patty or vegan patty.
Salt Salt and more salt. Get the idea they use too much salt? I have asked each time I’ve been there (6 times) to NOT use or add any salt to my food. Do they listen? Not once and they have me as a customer No more.
Great French fries, but that’s about it. The service was terrible the last two times that we went, so we will never go back. The first time, we politely asked about my milkshake since we had ordered it right after being seated and, at this point, had already been served our food. The server just stared at me for a good 30 seconds and then walked away without a word. The second time, we walked in to a virtually empty restaurant, and the hostess tried to seat us in one of the half booth/table things in which we would have been sharing a booth with approximately ten 5 year olds at a birthday party. We politely asked if there was any way that we could be seated further from the party, but were told that the servers would be mad at her if she did that. I understand that you seat in servers sections based on who gets the next table for your fair share of tips, etc., but please understand that two adults don’t want to essentially share a table with a kid’s birthday party.
Not really gourmet anything. The prices are a bit high for what you get but they say it’s because you get bottomless fries. Problem is you have to hope your server comes back after you get your meal so you know you will actually get more. The service has been poor overall and the prices to high to justify going back.
