Perfect Ending to a Fabulous Wedding Weekend Celebration. I want to give a shout out about this restaruant. This past weekend I needed a place to take 18 people to breakfast after my neices’s wedding. I called there Sunday morning at the last minute. They were so accomadating! We got there everything was all setup and the wait staff was awesome!! (Thank you Lorraine and Sarah) The food was very good and the service couldn’t have been better!!! Many thanks to them for a great end to a wonderful wedding weekend celebration.Gloria

Home Cooking. They make you feel at home with a great staff. The breakfasts are wonderful, like eating at grandma’s, It is nice to go on the weekends and see many families having a great time, often three generations or more! The skillets are awsome!

Formats. I lived in N-W Ind for many years and loved eating at the Viking Chili Bowl, both before and after the fire and move. I then moved to central CA, and found a restaurant very similar. The Hot Rod Diner in Turlock CA. They both have good food and service at reasonable cost. Also the open room concept to make it easy to get a server’s attention, and they close at 3pm or so, so no suppers. Just breakfast and lunch done very well, run by one person who knows how to manage an eatery.

I LOVE IT THERE GOOD FOOD GREAT SERVICE.

People are nice enough and they make OK sandwiches. But if I owned a restsurant with Chili Bowl in it’s name, I would surely be serving some great chili. Or chilis. VCB doesn’t; just very ordinary soupy gruel. I was surprised at that.
