Previously El Ranchito held the keys to my heart when it came to authenticity in FW, well the tides have turned. El Amish specifically does tacos and only tacos, and they do them muy, muy, bueno. The plethora of drinks is pretty cool, everything from horchata to fruit smoothies and carrot juice. If you’re eating in they give you a nice mix of their different sauces along with some cucumbers and radishes to cleanse your palate. The buche is my personal favorite, the flavor is amazing. You can hear them chopping up fresh meat daily when you enter the building. It’s usually busy and for good reason, it’s amazing. BEST TACOS IN FORT WAYNE.
