Uh oh!. The Brass Rail is an interesting place to say the least. Small and loud. Dont get me wrong i love going there with a group of people, but im not the head banging heavy metal sreamo music type. The drinks……The mix drinks are awful. If you are there to get drunk (like 80% of the crowd) then this is the place for you. But if you go out to get a mix drink that tastes good….keep walking. The beer is good, but how do you mess that up when its served in a bottle or can. Grade- C

They don’t have a kitchen, so they really don’t have food. The place kind of smokes donkey sausage, dangerous, PBR beer (rotgut), good concerts at times though. If you’re looking for a good fight come to the Brass Rail.

Concerts, beer, and times you wish you could remember. As a longime downtown Fort Wayne resident, I have walked to the rail many times. I routinely scout out their concert list, trying to scout out new favorite bands. Ok, so, The Brass Rail isn’t exactly what I would call a restaurant. If you walk in and expect a smile you are fooling yourself. However, If you walk in hungry you could get microwaved french bread pizza and sun chips. Cheap, strong drinks make up the majority of the menu here. The music never seems to disappoint . If your eyes and ears are hungrier than your stomach then the rail is a must-stop.
