Delicious gyros for a really reasonable price. Though it looks like a small shop, the gyro itself is enough to keep the biggest bellies satisfied for a good amount of time. The owners are really nice people. Though the spicy chicken is really not that spicy, I would definitely recommend it!
Best gyro in town. I love this place!!!! Best lunch in west lafayette hands down. Tons of food for a great price. The gyro meat is perfectly delicious. Their menu is big now because in addition to gyros and gyro salads they also offer big homemade burgers that are crazy good. Don’t miss this place.
Used to be the best. Boy it was too. Now the last three times I went there, its been subpar. The gyro meat is shaved off during a slow time and stored in a metal pan on the flat top. And the cucumber sauce is a little less tasty too. I’ve never liked their fries, those shoestring things, I prefer larger caliber fries. But the real story is of the holding the meat hot on the flat top so a gyro can be made in like under a minute. It sounds great in theory but everyone knows that a microwave dinner is crap compared the the real deal. The beauty of the gyro is the freshly seared meat being cut off as its still sizzling on the spit then heaped up on the toasting pita bread. This meat, that could have been cut off a cold spit of meat for all I know, then put into a hot pan on the flat top is CRAP. I will never order from them again, unless I go in and do not see the pan on the flat top. I’ll go to Akropolis or Parthenon If I want a tasty Gyro.
Good Food!. Good food, but I would recommend to management that the cashier take down a person’s name so they can be told when their food is ready. With a limited menu and many people ordering the classic like a gyro, you are looking over at the counter many, many times wondering if it is your food, instead of enjoying the experience of eating at the restaurant.
It’s gone from being really good and fresh to storing pre-sliced gyro meat in a tin next to the grill. Meat tastes old. Sauce lost it’s zing. And prices went up. Not worth the trip across town anymore.
Sooo awesome. Hits the spot. I am just sad I only came across this gem in the last month of my time at Purdue.
