I would give it 3/5 stars. Good food, seemed to try and be authentic as possible, but didn’t seem to be particularly ambitious. I got the Vietnamese sausage, eggs and rice. Everything was cooked well except for the sausage which was a little dry. I would try it again.
We have eaten here a number of times over the years. Always great food and excellent service. If you haven’t eaten Vietnamese food before, don’t be afraid. You’ll love it!
And when I tried to explain why I was so un happy and that I would be more than willing to talk to the manger or the chef the young uneducated waitress said no its fine. If I were the owner I would want to know why a customer had such a poor meal instead they did not want to hear the truth. Again this place is the worst Pho ever.19 Feb, 2013Don’t waste your time on this joint. I ordered the round eye steak with meatball. It was a large bowl bailout it was anything but the chef gavel three slices of nasty beef and three meatballs. I have eaten pho in many states and this place is the worst. The broth has no flavor and the waitress gave me one basil leaf. When I asked for more she brought me two leaves. Bland broth small portions and really bad service. Fake Pho really is the worst. Don’t bother.
Great little place in West Laf. Quick and the food is tasty. I love the fried tofu dish, #13 I think.
