Mixed Review. Pizza is good. Authentic NY style and they will make it however you want.Salads are POOR, although they used to be good. A few years ago they switched from fresh lettuce to the shredded stuff you get in the pre-made salad bags in the grocery store. Tastes of preservatives and not good at all. Have asked various managers several times to go back to fresh lettuce but am told the owner(s) don’t want the added expense of the fresh greens. Have stopped buying salads there as a result.
This place is great!
We ordered a pizza for delivery at 5:30 pm and were warned that it may take up to an hour or an hour and a half at the latest. Our pizza arrived at 7:40 pm! On top of that our pizza and bread sticks were cold. I can handle cold pizza if it is good but the crust and sauce were bland. We will NEVER waste our money on this place again. And we would recommend that you go to Pizzology instead….or even Domino’s.
Incredible pizza!. I dream of this pizza and just can’t get enough. The best pizza in town by far. Even the salads are incredible. In fact, now that I think about it, I am going there in a bit and get me a few slices of awesomeness. Real NY style pizza.. yum!! My fav is the pepperoni!
Yum!. Everything that Bella makes is outstanding! Whether it is the New York style round pizza or the Sicilian (which you likely can’t get anywhere else in Indy!), it looks as good as it tastes! Being from Queens, NY, I am very picky about my pizza, but Bella delivers! The other dishes like the chicken parm, lasagna, ziti, etc., satifies the toughest New York critic. The best Italian food Indy has to offer!
Terrible. My husband and I just ordered pizza tonight. We ordered a medium deep dish meat lovers pizza and an antipasto salad. I ordered at 7:45pm and my husband picked it up at 8:05-8:10. The man on the phone told me it would take 20 minutes for the pizza. We do not live more than 5-7 minutes from this place…when he got home with the pizza it was cold, the cheese was stiffening on top of the pizza and it was awful. I read these reviews and thought I should give it a try….never again. The salad was $7.00 and had brown pieces of lettuce in it. For as much hype this place gets I do not understand how what we ordered could be so awful. I will not be returning.
