Simply the best. I randomly decided to go here. It’s a little weird getting to it because it shares a building with a flea market or something, plus you have to walk around the building to get to the door (it’s on the side by the road). They have great BBQ. Which is the foundation for a great BBQ joint. But then they combine their BBQ with such awesome and unique creations that it makes it a step above most others. I would almost call it the Hipster BBQ with its awesome options. The thing that puts it over the top is the homemade tea. It is a sweet tea with sassafras. I don’t care if you know what that is, but it is absolutely fantastic and is the closest thing to crack I’ve ever tried in terms of addiction.

I have always loved Big Hoffa’s! My new favorite is their Korean BBQ tacos, with the beef brisket. Yum yum yum!!! I have cravings for these. So unbelievably good. I’m addicted to their sweet tea. Not sure what they put in it, but OMG it beats the pants off of true southern sweet tea.
Always Great Smoked BBQ. Been going to Big Hoffa’s since before they had permanent location, they were doing BBQ out of a trailer in the parking lot of a Ritter’s. Now located on 32 on the east side of Westfield attached to an antique mall, Big Hoffa’s not only has great BBQ but is a fun place to visit. The Pirate theme of the restaurant is a lot of fun for the whole family. Then, if it is your thing, you can browse the antique mall. Over the years I have used Big Hoffa’s for catering a few times and everyone always loved the food. I always go back to Big Hoffa’s for the great smokie BBQ, the friendly atmosphere and to say Hi to my friend Adam. Give it a try if you haven’t.
Meh. I tried this place out thanks to reviews and a desire for barbecue. I was really let down. I wanted to like it, because I usually don’t get to eat barbecue at restaurants. I got nervous when I saw the interior, because it was cluttered, dark, rundown, and there were holes in the upholstery of the benches I could see. I never judge a restaurant’s quality by its location or its looks, however. The food quality is probably 90% of what I use to judge whether I will return to a restaurant. I had the pulled pork sandwich with fries and coleslaw. The bun was greasy, the fries were soggy and greasy, the pork was just cooked pork without any flavor. The coleslaw was just normal coleslaw, like you get at the Walmart deli. I really wish there had been something redeemable in my meal because I really want to give them another chance, but everything was just too bad for me to do that to myself. I will not be back.
My absolute favorite place!!! I always get the pulled pork sandwich with extra cup of BBQ and dbl fries with 2 pints of pickles!! If I could I would eat here every single day with no regret!! The best BBQ around within 1000 miles 🙂
Outstanding food at a great price. Owner is super friendly and patio to sit on is so nice. We love driving out here to eat on the weekend. Definitely recommend this place.
