It was a slow night. But in all of my life, i have never been so disgusted with how we were treated by a server/bartender. I was tempted to leave without paying. I was obviously annoying the bartender with my presence. I think the other gentleman behind the bar was embarrassed by how rude she was to us, bc he was trying so hard to be sweet and make light of the situation. That/he was the only reason we didn’t walk out. What a great pub this could be if we weren’t treated like DIRT by the blonde monster behind the bar. BEWARE
No food, smoke, and no service. Attempted to try this restaurant today. Smokey and a little dark, but it’s a bar. Wondered about the smoking ban in Westfield. A group of us get there a little after 12 noon and find a seat. Waitress comes over and takes our drink order. 10 minutes goes by and she brings our drinks back and takes our order. Not a great start, but OK, it’s lunch time. Problem is she was the only one working the front of the restaurant. Only bartender/waitress for the 25+ customers in the place. Short story long, we waited 45 minutes and asked for our food to go because we would be late getting back to work. 10 more minutes go by – no food, no sign of lone store-front employee. We have to get back to work so we left.
Food is great…BUT….. The breaded tenderloin is one of the best in town. Really, really, outstanding.The Onion Rings are FANTASTIC. If you’re a fan of rings, do NOT miss these.The grilled or blackened tilapia is amazing. Cooked JUST right.The downside:I have no problem with smoking restaurants, however, they either don’t have a ventilation system, or it wasn’t working this week. Literally, a cloud of smoke all through the restaurant, much of it cigar smoke.And, the music from the jukebox was so ungodly loud, one couldn’t carry on a conversation.In short, the food makes me want to go back. The atmosphere makes me want to stay away.
Yummy!. This place has excellent food and great beer specials! HIghly recommend the Chipotle Chicken Sandwich . . . .sooo good.Gets a little loud during nights with bands, but a great place to hang out with friends!
