Not bad…. We bought a groupon for this Handel’s location and we’ve hadn’t gone in a while so we didn’t know what to expect. We ended up getting the 4 scoop sampler and a vanilla milkshake, which both were very good, but way overpriced. We could only spend $8 with the groupon, and everything was so overpriced, you either spent too less and too much over the amount. But overall the ice cream was delicious, especially the cookie dough.
That one review was right, the placement of this shop is hilarious. On one side there’s a gym & on the other side there’s a dentist’s office! lolThe ice cream is amazing. There’s no chairs or tables. So you’ll have to take it back to your car. I will definitely be going back in the future.
You can never go wrong with Handels. Got my favorite Spouse Like a House and tried the seasonal S’mores today as well. S’mores is officially my second favorite. It is made with the old Graham Central Station but without the candy bits. So good!
SUPER YUMMY! =D. This place is AMAZINGLY TASTY!! Specifically, Chocoholic Chunk is decadent dark chocolate ice cream with huge chocolate chip chunks in it. I had them make me a sundae with the Chocoholic Chunk instead of vanilla–add extra hot fudge and Spanish peanuts–and it was DEVINE… oh, so friggin rich and smooth and uuber tasty! Staff is friendly, too. 🙂 Odd location… If you look directly to the right, you see a large gym with super fit people running on treadmills as you gorge yourself on ice cream, feeling your hips and thighs slowly widen… (totally worth it though) 😉
Very cute place!. My husband had the Heath Bar Hurricane and he said it was great. It was much better than Oberweiss!
Lots of fun flavors, and good enough, but we prefer Oberweis for texture, taste and service.
Heavenly. The Chocolate Lover’s Chunk may be the second best ice cream I’ve ever had and the best that wasn’t in Northern Europe.
