Rudy’s management I’ve ever encountered. both times I went the food was under cooked.
Perfect local pub.. Beer selection on tap was OK, but they do have local brewery Sun King on tap. Food was great and priced right. Ruben was tasty and filling! Staff is very friendly. Great place to get a beer and some food after work!

I really can’t complain…. The Mill Tavern will never be considered for a James Beard Award, but seriously – it’s a bar in a strip mall… and I would imagine that 90% of their customer base lives in the subdivision that surrounds the shopping center. There’s not a lot of other options around… and when a restaurant has a captive audience like that, it usually spells trouble… but to be honest with you, I really like this place. The burgers are really good – quality beef, always cooked the way I’ve requested it. And the buns are really good too. Their Buffalo Chicken Nachos are crave-worthy. I’ve never had anything that I didn’t like, and when nobody feels like cooking, this place is really all I could conceivably need in a restaurant. The service is fantastic during the weekday evening hours. I specify this because that’s the only time I’ve ever been… I’ve been a regular patron at restaurants similar to this for YEARS – I’m talking almost weekly visits – and never once have I been treated like a ‘regular.’ But after 4-5 visits to The Mill Tavern, the server clearly recognized us… she knew what we liked and how we liked to order. She even noticed that we weren’t anywhere near our usual seat. That just blew me away… I would still probably go here purely out of convenience, but I appreciate that they still seem to go the extra mile.You may not be blown away by your meal here, but I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
Nice enough place, but can’t seem to notice that there are regulars that seem to get more friendly treatment than if you walk in off the street for the first time. I think as the staff mature this will change. All in all, great food and the portion sizes are excellent! This place will get better and I will soon (hopefully) be a regular as well!

Poor Reviews of the Mill Tavern. I read all these poor reviews about the Mill Tavern. I’ve only had good experiences at the Mill, Heather & Jamie are about the best bar maids in town! Try it I think you’ll like it! It’s the kind of place everyone knows your name.09 Oct, 2011The Mill Tavern. Great Staff, Heather Jamie & Everyone, are great busy at times, but then they really hustle. They have great pub food, the mushrooms are the best I’ve ever had, the lettuce wedge is good too, wings are typical, the tenderloin is Indiana typical too, Tuesday is steak night. My wife and I eat there a couple of times a week because it’s reasonable.
