We always get good service and great food. My husband loves the burritos. I love the Mama Sugar nachos…but the portion is HUGE so I always end up taking some home. I would highly recommend this place. Only downside: I wish they took reservations. This is really quality food at a great price. If you end up in Zionsville for the night, I urge you to stop by and try Salty Cowboy. You wont be disappointed.

Cons-Underneath our table were tons of crushed chips which made the place seem dirty. You have to pay for chips and salsa, although the salsa is super good.
Great food and atmosphere! This is a great addition to my town and I am sorry I waited so long to try it. They have an impressive bourbon and tequila selection. I had the house margarita and it was very good. I will be back often!
Wanted to love Salty Cowboy but couldn’t. Atmosphere was fun, but food has a lot to be desired. Drop the overpriced foo foo Tex Mex and go for family friendly Tex Mex that’s fun and not break the bank. Do a Tex Mex version of the Friendly where people will want to meet their friends … Just sayin’.
The haters gonna hate hate hate….We avoided this place for a few months cause of some off reviews. Went tonight and it’s awesome. House margs are on spot, wings are the best I’ve had in town and the burrito is great. Try it!
Excellent food and service!. We tried a smorgasbord of items…all were excellent. Honestly, this is the first time we are excited about a new restaurant in Zionsville.
The Food is Great, the Staff is Nice, and the Manager, Jason is Hot. Totally Awesome!
