Awesome food!! If you’re ever in Zionsville you need to get lunch or dinner here. I love the Reuben. And their kettle chips are delicious! My family of 4 ate for $40. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. Very helpful with suggestions on the menu as well. I highly recommend this place!
The best wings I’ve ever had!!! Small restaurant bar in the heart of Zionsville. The sandwiches are good! I’ve never had the pork tenderloin, but everyone that has had the tenderloin absolutely love it! My wife always orders the salad and lives that!! It’s very crowded on Friday and Saturday nights! Closed on Sunday’s!
On May 20th, my wife and I had lunch at The Friendly Tavern. I thought I had the tenderloin when I was their prior, but I think I had the pork chops instead. Their tenderloin is very good. The tenderloin is thin and the breading is light but well seasoned. It comes on a bun with all the fixings. It reminds me a lot of the tenderloin at the Hilltop Inn in Evansville, but the seasoning in the breading is better at the Friendly Tavern.
Found an excellent beef Manhattan in Zionsville. Mom had the breaded tenderloin and gave it high marks as well. Friendly place and staff, great vibe too. Worth a visit!!
Terrible service, wish I could have tried the food but after our waiter sat us we ordered water, then he rudely walked away and never came back. Other waiters ignored us, I was prepared to spend over $60 that night but they will not be getting my service.
Excellent food. We asked Diane what was recommended and we had wings and pork tenderloin sandwich. It was excellent and they even split the plates for my husband and I as we shared it. No kids allowed, older crowd, great bar.
Mr. John Smith. The Friendly is a great place to go and eat with close friends. The food is excellent, I personally love the rib eye or the filet mignon the chicken wings are also a fav of mine. Two persons could eat them and have some left! they are not like most places where you can’t decide if they are pigeon wings or the chicken died of starvation….no these babies are plump and good. The atmosphere is a bit noisy as the evening draws on but worth every minute!!
