Great food
Slow slow slow. The employees are really friendly however it took at least 30 minutes to get a veggie wrap and they didn’t tell us where to get water. When I finally got someone to tell me where to get water and cups, there was no more water. I finally got someone to poor me some water but the whole experience means I won’t be back… Oh ya, we came to cafe milo at 12:30 and they said they were out of the soup of the day. Not well prepared
Terrible customer service. 🙁 I ordered two iced coffees on my way out of town, and the ass-hat making drinks decided it was more important to rinse out his milk pitchers, refill some things, and have a conversation with his friend in line while I waited ten minutes to get out of there
Great coffee. Turkey club sandwich was decent and tomato basil soup was very good. Very friendly people working there which is always a must for me.

Cafe Milo is a newer cafe in ames and is a great location for the people who live on that side of town. They just added hand dipped ice cream and the place reminds me of Burgies Espresso Cafe. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to study, hang out with friends, be alone and read, or just drink good coffee. One tip: when you get a flavor is your drink, tell them not to add so much!
