The Palace is looking great again! Campustown has been lacking a place for vegetarians so we are delighted to have new option. The added delivery is a wonderful plus too.
Consistently good. The lunch buffet (11am-3pm) is a great place to go for a quick cheap eat (>$10). Lots to choose from, tandoori chicken, mesc. hot dishes, sides and desert. I haven’t order off the menu so i can’t comment on anything past the buffet. The staff are also very welcoming and friendly .
Excellent!. Great lunch buffet and truly wonderful staff who care about your experience. Also love the mango lasse drink!
I got a takeout from this place while in Ames for business. Its a good restaurant and the food was average. However, not many Indian places around so it was a good option to have.
When i saw this place located in the basement of an old building, I had high hopes that this would be an awesome dive. The food looked and smelled great; however, it lacked enough flavor to make it awesome. I would not recommend even trying the food.
Yummy, yummy, yummy. Sooooooo good! The spinach pakora is to die for! Shatteringly crisp, dipped into the mango chutney — fabulous! {They got me hooked on mango chutney – theirs is sweet, not vinegary – and now I’m almost always disappointed at other Indian restaurants to find that they either don’t have it at all or have one that is way too heavy on the acidic/sour element.}Vegetable samosas, cheese & chicken pakoras, chicken biriyani, various dal dishes, mushroom & peas pulao, matar paneer, alu gobhi, & the lassi drinks are some of my favorites. In addition, the others I usually go with particularly love the spinach dishes & the garlic naan. The hosts & servers are unfailingly pleasant & accommodating, and I have never been there when the buffet was not fresh & inviting.
Great Indian Food. We stop on our way from Minnesota to Arkansas and always plan our trips with this place in mind. Great food, good prices. The service is friendly and our waiter was great with my 3 yr old.
