Nice little place that serves very good breakfast. The service is very good as well and they grind and brew their own coffee. I think the prices are a bit high for what they are serving, but nevertheless, I really enjoyed my visit!
Dessert/Coffee shop on one side, full restaurant on the other side, and nice outdoor seating shared by both: this is a very nice and very popular place.Menu is very small and very focused: if you don’t like breakfast or light offerings this is not the place for you: I ordered the Eggs with Short Rib. Simply amazing. But maybe the lunchtime Bloody Mary influenced my judgement.Waitstaff are friendly, but their system of checking you in and waiting is terrible. Expect to wait, and expect to be annoyed and uncomfortable the whole time you wait to be seated.
Always amazing food. Always. The levels of flavor continually knock my socks off.
Disrespectful. We called ahead to check wait times and were told there was immediate seating. So we arrived on 6 minutes and found out there was 35-45 minute wait, and according to other others, it had been that way for some time. We will not tey again.
Went for lunch, it was busy but got in after a 5 minute wait. Staff was friendly and quick. Had the salmon sandwich. Very fresh and perfect size for lunch. I would recommend and will be back!
Best place in Ames by far. Very consistently happy to dine here. I wish more places could match their quality. Deserts are homemade and awesome. Only problems are it can be a wait to get a table for obvious reasons.
What a great find. Ordered balsamic salad and chicken schnitzel with red cabbage and mustard sptzle. Had local bourbon cocktail with home made vanilla bean syrup. Great service, nice atmosphere, fabulous menu. Nice prices.
